Community Alcohol and Drug Services (CADS) provide a range of Alcohol and Drug services for the greater Auckland region with a population of over 1.5 million people and is operated by Waitemata District Health Board. This position offers an exciting opportunity for those who like to make a difference by working with individuals and their families and assisting them in reducing and resolving alcohol and drug related problems.
You will be part of our team in Henderson although your clinical work will be provided from relevant CADS locations in the Auckland region. You will provide a range of clinical alcohol and other drug related treatment services to clients who present to the unit or are referred by other services and agencies.
You will have relevant tertiary qualifications, excellent communication, assessment, treatment and referral skills, experience and expertise in working with a diverse group of people and a clear problem solving approach.
