Senior Analyst Product Costing

Your Purpose A fantastic opportunity to learn how the organisation operates from the grass roots up with the results of your product costing and analysis leading to enhanced understanding across the manufacturing business This role sits within the Fonterra Brands Operations Supply Chain Finance team where you will have overall responsibility for costing both new products as well as refreshing and updating the costing for existing products both manufactured and purchased finished goods As the Senior Analyst of Product Costing you will be responsible for Managing all aspects of modelling product costs checking accuracy consistency and logic at all times Provide analysis of the impact of changes of costs on the business and be able to explain variances ensuring a robust change tracking process is in place Communicate with and maintain a close working relationship with the wider business to improve the understanding of product costs through education clear communication and project work Ensure the processes for producing product cost information are well documented well understood and systems are effective and robust What you will bring To be successful in this role you will be a gogetter having the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team and have the drive to make things happen You will have previously demonstrated experience in SAP and other ERP systems accuracy with figures and attention to detail In addition you will have natural business acumen with a passion for delivering commercial insights We are looking someone who can easily build key relationships and networks quickly making connections with stakeholders and become familiar with the intricacies of our Brands Business To be successful in this role you will ideally bring the following key skills and experience Significant experience within a product costing role Exposure to an FMCG environment Desired tertiary qualification in Accounting Confidence in working with large volumes of data with a high level of accuracy The Fonterra Story As New Zealand s largest business and a worldleading dairy exporter Fonterra s highquality dairy ingredients and branded dairy products are consumed in over 100 countries around the globe Apply today to be taken on this journey
