About the business Spacetime is a wholly New Zealand owned company with a mission to help Kiwi businesses leverage Natural Language Processing technology for smarter interactions with their customers and team About the role As a Spacetime Data Engineer your role will be performing the design development and maintenance of data components for Artificial Intelligence solutions with full life cycle delivery through agile You will be truly customer focussed and a genuine team player Accountabilities and Requirements Accountabilities Responsible for translating business and user requirements into specific systems applications and or process designs for technical solutions Analyses business requirements processes and system integration considerations to determine appropriate technology solutions for internal and external customers Develops data pipelines to support analytics solutions for customer engagements through indepth analysis and coordination with key stakeholders Prepares systems diagrams and fully documents solutions Requirements Excellent communication and customer presentation skills BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field 4 years of schema design dimensional data modelling and ETL experience 4 years of SQL programming experience Ability to understand complex business logic Working knowledge of Python Node js and React js Excellent understanding of data warehousing and data security Experience working with RESTful APIs and Cloud architectures Excellent project management organisational and time management skills This is a hugely interesting role for capable individuals that want to make a real difference in an exciting and world changing domain The successful applicants will be well supported with ongoing technical development and certification opportunities
