Forklift Driver – Warehouse Store Person

Te Papapa, 1061Full-time, PermanentWalter & Wild is a New Zealand Manufacturing company with a substantial portfolio of iconic brands including Hubbards, I Love Food Co., Aunt Betty's, Hansells, Vitafresh and Alfa One.Having warehousing experience in an FMCG or a similar industry is not required but will send you to the top of the shortlist. We are after someone with exceptional communication skills (written and oral), a bubbly and driven personality plus an attitude where nothing is too difficult.Responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to:Receipt packagingTransfer raw materials required for weigh upEnsure pallets are wrapped and documented accordinglyFinished product and WIP- wrapped and removalStore and Stock managementSupply production with pallets & layer boards as requiredRemoval & correct disposal of rubbishMaintain Batch and location accuracyLoading and unloading containers/trucksOperating forklifts and reach forkliftsTo be successful for this role, you will have:A Forklift licence (reach and counterbalance preferred)Previous Warehousing/Stores experienceReliable transport to get to workGood physical fitness (able to lift and move up to 25kg)High levels of numeracy and literacyExperience working in a fast-paced work environmentExperience with AX or similar ERP systemsA "can do" attitude, positive demeanour, sense of humour and flexible style is a mustWhy Walter & Wild?Joining us means joining a global organisation with very exciting growth plans.With a fresh approach, we aspire to be the leading innovator, marketer and creators of food in NZ.
