Financial Accountant 36 month CBD contract with trusted brand 36 month contract Permanent Potential Trusted and stable brand Contract Financial Accountant role in Aucklands CBD with one of NZs most trusted financial services provider Your new company They have been serving NZ for over 100 years and have a client portfolio of over 100 000 People are what they consider of most importance both their employees and clients Your new role Maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the ACCPAC general ledger and associated sub systems Preparation of the monthly P L and Balance Sheet Assist preparation of regular financial reports to management and shareholders Preparation of the Group s quarterly FBT returns Maintenance of the Group s Fixed Asset Register Reconciliation of 3x entities Manage the entire balance sheet reconciliation process for all Group companies Manage the entire journal process for all Group companies Maintain the lease rent holiday register and ensure appropriate entries passed through GL Preparation of several reports for the group board pack Debtors reconciliations sub ledgers to GL Adhoc modelling around forecasts business performance etc What youll need to succeed Specialist knowledge and experience in financial accounting for NZ companies Detailed knowledge of financial accounting principles and applications Knowledge of group consolidation accounting Specialist advanced knowledge of MS Excel Ability to analyse and communicate financial information A sound knowledge of NZIFRS A team player with a strong sense of ownership and accountability Excellent communication skills to be used in both internal and external communications Ability to adhere to strict deadlines What youll get in return Stable 36 month contract with a very trusted brand with little staff turnover There is also a potential this will go permanent What you need to do now If youre interested in this role click apply now to forward an uptodate copy of your CV or call us now If this job isnt quite right for you but you are looking for a new position please contact us for a confidential discussion on your career Aimee Allaway 09 377 4774 Reference Number 2338461 To apply please click the Apply button below
