This role is within the Disability Directorate of the Ministry of Health, and is responsible for the collection, analysis and reporting of high-quality data to inform decision-making about the quality and performance of the disability system within New Zealand.
The Disability Directorate provides leadership and stewardship to the disability sector to ensure an equitable, fair, and sustainable support system that delivers on the Government's priorities for people with a disability.
This role of Analyst sits in the Quality and Performance team and is responsible delivering high quality, timely, evidence based and accurate data analysis that supports the delivery of the Ministry's and Disability Directorate's priorities. In particular, to support decisions about the quality and effectiveness of disability services and the disability system.
To be successful, we are looking for your skills and experience in data collection, data quality, analysis and reporting. You will demonstrate proficiency using MS Excel. You will use your initiative, creativity, and knowledge of the needs of the audience to develop reports based on data and information in multiple formats. You will be committed to continuous improvement and building collaborative and positive relationships across the Directorate, the Ministry and the disability sector.
