Auckland City, 1010ICT Support (Fixed term until June 2020)Position DescriptionThe fixed-term ICT support assistant is responsible for delivering high quality ICT services to staff. The primary focus is user support and responding to user support calls. You will need to diagnose and resolve ICT related problems, escalating matters arising as necessary.This full-time fixed-term role has been created to manage a temporary increase in our user support and project work volumes.WHO YOU REPORT TOYou report to the Group IT Manager in Airedale Property Trust.WHAT YOU’RE RESPONSIBLE FORFirst point of contact for ICT service queries and requests from staff at all three TrustsOccasionally liaising with ICT suppliers over hardware and infrastructure issuesDiagnose and resolve hardware, software, network and other ICT related issuesContributing to ICT projectsEscalating issues in line with agreed proceduresMaintaining the ICT ticket system, asset records and knowledge databaseFacilitating staff onboarding and offboarding ICT processes and trainingProvision of ICT procurement requestsWHAT SKILLS & EXPERIENCE YOU NEEDTwelve to eighteen months of ICT related experienceTertiary level of computer science or information system qualificationAdvanced user skills in Microsoft Office applicationsKnowledge of computer hardware, data network and telephone systemsAbility to investigate user problems and identify the type of solution requiredProven time management skills allowing you to prioritise and schedule workloadA willing, can-do attitude and passion for technologyStrong ethics and ability to maintain strict confidentialityA team player with excellent communication skillsA full, clean NZ driver licence preferred
