We are looking for an experienced full time Senior Shepherd who is keen to work on a progressive rolling country farm.
We are offering a unique opportunity to be part of a large-scale, highly productive family business, running sheep, beef and deer.
CR Grace consists of a trading lamb operation and sheep & cattle breeding/finishing enterprise. Comprises of 20% steep hills, 40% easy hill and 40% cultivatable river terrace flats running 2500 ewes, finishing 20,000 lambs and wintering 800 cattle.
Duties will be wide ranging including all facets of stockwork, animal health, stock rotation, winter feeding and many other duties. There will be times that you will be expected to step-up into a managerial role when the Farm Manager is away on other jobs.

Hunterville and surrounding towns are all strong rural communities in the Rangitikei District, with lots of activities like an active rugby team, NZ Young Farmers Club, squash, tennis, hunting and fishing easily assessible and further enhancing this rare shepherding opportunity.
An excellent renumeration package is on offer and a warm, tidy 4-bedroom house is available on school bus route to Hunterville School.
