Houskeeping, Reception

All rounder required to join our small team in the alpine village of Lake Tekapo.Minimum stay 3 month (negotiable)We are looking for a friendly, motivated, easy-going person to join our awesome team at Tailor Made Tekapo Backpacker to start ASAPWhats involved?Housekeeping duties include making up guest rooms, and bathroom cleaning.Helping out at the reception (checking guests in, answer phone calls, doing laundry, etc.)Possibly helping to maintain the garden and building exterior and helping to take care of the hostel pets and animals, if you want to do some more hours.We have rabbits, guinea-pigs, checkens, sheeps and a cat, so ideally you would like animals. What are the hours?:We usually work between 3-4 hours a day, 6 days a week. Once you are settled in there are plenty of other evening jobs in town or you can just take your time to explore the area (including MT Cook National Park)We also search for someone who wants to work at the reception the whole december (full-time).Accommodation:We can secure you a bed in a private house with other working holiday staff, (it's not in the hostel). Or you can stay anywhere you like in Lake Tekapo. It is hard to find accommodation here, but we will ensure a place to rent if you need one.What's in Lake Tekapo?:The world famous Dark Sky Reserve, ice skating, hot pools and the lake is on the edge of Mt Cook National Park. There's loads and loads of hiking and outdoor activities here, so the ideal person would enjoy being outdoors and will take advantage of all the wonderful natural beauty of Lake Tekapo.
