Job Description:
Planning the MTCS technical activities and providing oversight / support of the in-country technical team
Design of the tactical radio network, including systems architecture, trade studies, system design, network design, system interfaces and performance analysis
Product expertise and support for the Harris radio products supplied to the MTCS system
Laboratory and field-based test and acceptance activities
Generating project technical documentation and test reports
Coordination of specialty engineering tasks, including, systems security and systems safety
Identifying project risks and recommended solutions through the HCA risk management process.
The position will require frequent travel to New Zealand and limited travel to the United States.
The position will require some work outside of normal business hours to maintain regular contact with portions of the development team in the United States.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Technical solution for the MTCS tactical radio network within the cost and schedule constraints of the project
Harris MTCS Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP)
Technical mastery of the Harris radio products supplied to the MTCS system
V&V testing and System Acceptance of the MTCS system
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
Current SECRET Security Clearance or ability to attain a SECRET Security Clearance
Required citizenship
