We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and dedicated Finance Professional to join our team in Auckland, New Zealand. The Finance Professional is responsible for commercial operations excellence, maintaining general budgeting, accounting and reporting operations for NZ projects business.Your key responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
The Finance Professional has ownership of reporting and analysis across commercial aspects of the project business and will be responsible for weekly and monthly operational analysis, analytical support for project work across the business
Budget and forecast preparation for project department and controlling variances
Managing project logistic such as completeness of bill-of-material order and liaise with factory lead time
Administer and monitor the financial system in order to ensure that the book and records are properly maintained in an accurate and timely manner.
Supports implementation of financial and business administration policies, standards and procedures, for ES
Accomplishes financial analysis, planning and controlling activities, and all related business administration activities.
Completes consolidation of all accounting, financial reporting, and other finance related operations (incl. P&L reporting and Balance Sheet).
Your qualifications and experience:
Previous role in commercial and/or accounting environment, preferably in project management environment.
Result and quality orientation with a high attention to detail.
Strong analytical skill is a must.
Strong command of the English language, written and verbal.
Strong organization, time management, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
Sound knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and SAP R/3 (SPIRIDON) required.
