THE COMPANY
Te Whanau O Waipareira Trust has been serving the West Auckland community for over 35 years. One of the largest NGOs in New Zealand, with over 200 staff, with continued growth and expansion. Wai Atamai is the Social Innovation Hub of Te Whanau o Waipareira Trust and is currently looking for a Project Lead to join the team.
THE POSITION
The Project Lead is an integral member of the Wai-Atamai team, responsible for developing, leading and supporting key priority projects. These will support new thinking along with fresh approaches and implementation of innovative programmes. They are essential in contributing to the effective implementation of Wai Atamai priorities, both internal and external, with projects that align Wai Atamai and Te Whanau o Waipareira’s roles as thought leaders in progressing social transformation.
ABOUT YOU
The ideal applicant for this role will have a background in business and strategic design thinking and be passionate about making social change. They will also be used to working in a diverse team and be able to be agile, working effectively across a range of different projects. Preferably hold a relevant qualification and have a commitment to Te Reo me nga Tikanga Maori, with demonstrated facilitation, planning and coordination experience.
