Logistics Coordinator

Keith Andrews Trucks is New Zealand's No 1 Fuso dealership. From simple beginnings more than 20 years ago in Whangarei, the company has now grown to also include branches in Hamilton, Bay of Plenty and Auckland. We have over 140 staff incorporating automotive technicians, vehicle sales representatives, parts advisors, vehicle logistics and preparation team, and administrative support staff.
A brand new role of Logistics Coordinator is now required in our Hamilton branch, supporting the sales department in planning and controlling of stock by managing stock movement and arranging for work to be carried out on vehicles.
Key duties will include creating an action plan for processing vehicles, checking stock for damage, issuing stock numbers, and arranging quotes and raising purchase orders for outwork. Prior to delivery of vehicles all documentation and certificates are checked, and arranging vehicle movement and handover is completed.
Administration and communication is key, especially keeping the Sales team fully briefed, checking in with other departments on vehicle progress, and ensuring contractors are completing work in a timely manner.
Class 4 licence is required and exposure to Fuso or Mercedes-Benz product beneficial. More importantly is proven experience with logistics.
