Our community loves to swim and as a result we are seeking to employ motivated, energetic instructors to join our fun and passionate Learn to Swim Team.
As a Swim School Instructor you will be responsible for; planning structured and engaging lessons, teaching with encouragement and positive reinforcement, assessing participants to ensure they are improving their swimming ability and reaching milestones.
Having a qualification and some experience in swim teaching along with a current first aid certificate is desirable, however training is available for the right candidates and we will support you in gaining a nationally recognised qualification.
To be successful in this role you will be comfortable working with preschoolers or school-aged children, committed to working positively within a team and value the importance of fantastic customer service. You will also have excellent problem-solving and communication skills alongside a love of swimming and being in the water!
Hours for this role are at least 26.75 per week as listed below:
You will be available to work all of the above shifts and ideally have the flexibility to regularly pick up additional shifts, to provide cover when required.
We value the safety of our young people and therefore appointments for this role are subject to a satisfactory safety check including a police vetting process.
