The Company:
We are a NZ owned and operated business well entrenched in our local market having been in operation for over 70 years. We create bespoke plastic products for everyone from large multi-nationals to entrepreneurs. With an expanding site and client base, we utilise injection moulding, plastic extrusion and blow moulding to deliver quality products to our customers within short timeframes.
The Role:
With the expansion of our team, we are currently looking for an Injection Moulding Technician to join our team to assist with our increased production. The successful candidate will have at least three years' experience with a current NZQA qualification, and will be able to work autonomously on various projects that will be constantly developing. You will have a major focus on quality, and health & safety in the workplace; as well as being able to work with a range of customers and believing in their vision.
Position Requirements:
Level 4 National Certificate in Plastics Processing Technology (Injection Moulding)
Previous Plastic Injection Moulding experience with food or medical grade manufacturing
Solid mechanical aptitude and understanding of basic preventative maintenance principles
Working knowledge of NZ Health & Safety best practice
Great communication skills; written and verbal
High level of computer literacy
