Scrap Handler Operator

Metalman is a significant player in the New Zealand metal recycling industry with five branches throughout New Zealand. Metalman is owned by HW Richardson Group Ltd, which itself is a family owned business operating throughout New Zealand and Australia.
We are looking for a Scrap Handler Operator based at our Takanini Branch. This is a pivotal role that requires focus and finesse.
You will operate a material handler and grapple to load and unload anything from trucks and trailers to car trailers and 20' containers.
Additionally we are looking for the right person with heavy forklift skills to operate our 40T Forklift.
We are looking for a candidate that:
You will need to be physically fit and take pride in your personal appearance as well as your work area.
Ideally you will be an all-rounder who is motivated and happy to assist with all aspects of the business to ensure the smooth running of the Branch.
The position is primarily Monday to Friday along with rostered Saturday morning.
Metalman has a rigorous drug and alcohol policy and the successful candidate would need to pass a drug test prior to employment.
