Role snapshot:
You`ll have an international focus to your role and treated an expert in your area by the wider team. Design, upgrade and configure routing and switching architecture, ensuring network security, monitoring and measurement infrastructure are all in place. You`ll also take responsibility for the system that manages the network configurations and develop new management tools. A customer-driven approach is front of mind as you work to deliver the right solution for our environment and you will be given the autonomy to deep dive into solutions and bring your own creations to life.

The fit (of the ideal candidate):
- Experience building and managing a large scale telco network
- A keenness for automation where possible
- Juniper Routing & Switching (MX, EX, ACX & QFX platforms)
- Nokia / Alcatel-Lucent BNG Platform (7750-SR)
- Nokia / Alcatel-Lucent SAS Switching platform (7210 SAS)
- Firewall experience (Fortigate, Juniper SRX)
- MPLS / VPLS / eVPN
- E-LAN & E-Line services
- VMware virtualisation platform
- Familiar with SIP-based voice networks
- Strong Linux & scripting/automation skills advantageous
- Excellent communication skills
- Desire to be part of a team that think outside of the box, while being able to look at the bigger picture
