Fruits And Veggies Farm Help

We mainly grow strawberries, tomatoes, beans, stone fruits as well as various vegetables. We are currently converting this property into organic. We also have a commercial kitchen in which we process some of our fruits and veggies and make great preserves.We sell our products at the Hawkes Bay Farmer’s Market and at our shop at the gate.Our property is located 3km away from Hastings City Center and 7km away from Havelock North.TASKS: The activities on site will be various, from picking to selling (if you feel like), including packing and gardening. If you like cooking, you could also help in the kitchen.WORKING CONDITIONS: We offer accommodation and food against 5 hours per day of work, 6 days per week. There are also generally extra paid hours on the afternoon ONLY for the people staying with us ($17,70/hr). We don't sponsor for work Visa.Updated Schedule: We have now people joining us until X-mas. So we need people from the 26th of December 2019 until mid-February 2020. We usually look for 4 people for this period. The minimum stay will be two weeks.ACCOMODATION: There is a nice camp ground with two big Canvas tents, an outdoor kitchen with a BBQ and an outdoor shower (with hot water). There is a shower inside the house that can be used too. You also have access to the Laundry facilities.
