Bike Mechanic

Bike mechanic required for a holiday park in Wanaka.Nestled between the kanuka trees at the start on the Clutha River we are a quiet campsite where you can spend your time on the lake or enjoying the biking and walking tracks direct from the camp.Our holiday park needs a person who can keep our rental bike fleet maintained and repaired. There is also some landscaping work that might require help from time to time.We need someone who can start from now and who can help us over the upcoming months.Under the new Government rules this is a paid job, working 7 hours per week @ $17.70 per hour so you must already hold a valid Working Holiday Visa and have an IRD number. This is a live in position staying in your own campervan/tent and your accommodation and expenses are $124.00 per week which will be deducted from your weekly pay which is the equivalent of the old rule working for accommodation, so you WILL NOT RECEIVE A WAGE but you will not be out of pocket. We will issue you with a contract explaining this when you start.This suits someone who is looking for a really low cost accomodation option in Wanaka and already has their own van or tent.Please contact us to find out more.
