We welcome applicants for the above position who are looking for a change of pace and wish to relocate to our beautiful province which promises an excellent work life balance.
This position is in our tightly knit MRI team of five (four MRTs & one Clinical Assistant) and will suit an experienced MRI technician who is keen to combine MRI duties with some rostered and rotating general shifts. The position will involve an average of two days per week in MRI. We currently scan five days per week, with on call duties from 1700hrs. Our workload includes referrals from the wards, ED & clinics.
We have a single Siemens 1.5T Magnetom Symphony scanner whilst the rest of the department includes 6 xray rooms, angio suite (2016), nuclear medicine, CT, ultrasound and image intensifiers.
You will join a staff of around 70; including MRTs in CT and General, nuclear medicine, ultrasound. You will be supported by a team of nine Radiologists.
We are looking for an applicant who is flexible, a good team player, and with a positive personality. You must be able to handle pressure and make sound decisions in difficult situations. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills are important.

This position would suit either someone seeking full time work, or an MRI technician prepared to work part time.
