Health Care Assistant / Clinic Aide - Sexual Health Clinic
Wellington Sexual Health Centre is looking for a person who can work well within a team environment but also with the ability to work autonomously.
We need someone who is highly organised and can maintain a safe and streamlined work environment, timely stocking and re-ordering of supplies and has an awareness of professional boundaries.
Previous Health Care Assistant / Clinic Aide experience would be an advantage, however, training specific to the specialist area will be provided. You will need to be able to work closely with a dynamic team of Doctors, Nurses and Administration, and provide assistance for them when required. Some computer work is involved and you will also be responsible for maintaining the on-site laboratory environment and associated documentation. You will run self-testing express clinics , some chaperoning work, and phlebotomy is expected and training will be given for these requirements.
The Hours of work are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 08:30-1730, Thursday hours are yet to be decided but there is an expectation that this could be a late start and finish at 8pm due to evening clinics that are held on this day.
