Surgical Booking Clerk – Reliever (Ptnfh)

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced administrator to join our elective services booking team at Whangarei Hospital. The surgical booking clerk reliever manages the administration processes relating to patients who require planned admission for surgery. Tasks include working collaboratively with the surgeons and clinical nurse managers, contacting patients to arrange and confirm surgery dates, data entry into the patient management system, providing detailed accurate information to patients and to whanau.
We are looking for someone with outstanding organisational skills. You will demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, well developed time management skills, enjoy learning new tasks, and have excellent communication and problem solving expertise. Previous experience working in a hospital setting would be an advantage.
