ICU or acute experience essential

The Teams
Our tertiary level 3 ICU at Christchurch Hospital is on the lookout for Registered Nurses who are committed to providing quality care to our ICU patients. We care for a variety of patients, both adults and children, requiring intensive care including those following cardiothoracic surgery, neurosurgery, and trauma.
We'd love experienced ICU Nurses to join our team but would also welcome nurses with acute experience who are organised, intuitive, quick thinking, communicate exceptionally well and are absolute team players.

The Role
There are a variety of FTE positions currently available that are rostered shifts to cover service needs.
Skills and requirements:
Experienced NZ Registered Nurse with a current Nursing Council of New Zealand practising certificate
Effective interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Initiative, excellent time management skills and the ability to effectively and efficiently complete tasks
Motivated and flexible self-starter with the ability to work both in a team and autonomously
Required to work full rotating shifts
