Maintenance Engineer - Nelson

Due to business expansion and consumer demand Techsearch, a division of Staffline, are currently recruiting maintenance engineers on behalf of the WORLDS largest independent bottler or retail beverages. This is a high-speed filling plant, FMCG environment.Our client takes on single skill engineers as well as dual qualified (both having different salary bandings), they also have a fantastic shift pattern meaning you get every other weekend off!!Location - Nelson areaSalary - Single skill pays £38,342PA Multi skill pays £40,491PAShifts - Panama pattern - 3's & 2's.Hours - 6-6ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES –Diagnosis, resolution and elimination of root causes of engineering faultsDesign, trial and implementation of minor equipment modifications in support of increased performanceCompletion of all scheduled, planned corrective, reactive and improvement maintenance as allocatedSupport to the implementation of permit to work system for control of contractor / internal activities within defined work areaEnsure completion of equipment diaries, handover records, incident reports. Completion of notifications & Work orders within SAP PM for all work allocated to team. Raise purchase orders where requiredAttendance and input to all relevant operational, engineering and CI meetings.Meet with engineering shift supervisor at start and end of shift to agree operational and engineering priorities.Contribute to the planning and implementation of allocated annual equipment overhauls.REQUIREMENTS –Appropriate Technical Qualification (C&G Minimum, BTEC ONC / TEC 3 or higher preferred)IEE 17th EditionCompletion of a recognised ApprenticeshiIT literate – Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
