A leading telecommunications company is looking for a Radio Frequency Engineer to join their vibrant team. With over 180,000 employees world wide, located in 170 countries, you will be be an integral part of a global leader in the telecommunications industry.
Your new role
As a Structural Engineer you will be responsible for the following:

Designing and developing standardised mounting solutions
Managing quality analysis and control on design deliverables obtained from external stakeholders
Conducting analysis, assessment and certification of monopole, towers, building and other structures to meet design objectives
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders in relation to designs to ensure that technical issues are resolved in a timely manner
Identifying potential risks within the design development process
Developing and maintaining effective relationships with clients and/or external consultants to enable effective design negotiations

Coordinating design inputs from other discipline to deliver workable site solutions
Ensuring compliance of engineering designs against New Zealand and client standards

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have the following:
Current experience within the telecommunications industry - current or previous experience within Wireless Upgrade (RAN and Transmission) or Greenfield Projects will be highly advantageous
Three years experience working in telco structural design particularly in wireless telecommunications structural design
A qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering
Working knowledge of Telecommunications Legislation (Telecommunications Act, Code of Practice, Low Impact Determination, Deployment Code etc)
Thorough understanding of Australian Standards for Design
Comprehensive knowledge of the New Zealand Building Code (Resource Management Act)
Experience using structural analysis software (Space Gass or MS Tower Preferred)
