Gis Analyst

Our client, based in Auckland central, is currently searching for a dynamic and proactive GIS Data Analyst to join their planning team on a full time - temporary basis for 8 months.
The analyst role will require you to deliver accurate maps and data visualisations to influence and shape Auckland’s education growth plans over the next ten years and beyond.
This position would suit a self-motivated individual who enjoys visualising geospatial information, interpreting facts and figures, analysing trends and identifying options. You will need to collaborate with colleagues to understand factors affecting growth of school rolls.
To be successful in the role you will need to be:
Experienced in using Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) such as map info
Able to deliver timely and accurate maps and analysis with a high degree of speed and accuracy
Able to interpret detailed data
Able to understanding complex design concepts
Able to present comprehensive reports confidently to multiple stakeholders
Able to identify key trends and issues in New Zealand’s education system
