What you will do

You will be responsible for the maintenance and oversight of all publications utilised by aircrew ensuring they remain accurate and compliant within the operating and technical airworthiness environments.
We have two roles available. First is with Flying Training Wing which provides the NZDF with experienced and motivated military aircrew and instructors, operating the T6C Texan and King Air KA350 aircraft.

The second role is with No 3 Squadron which provides the Rotary Wing Transport Force (RWTF) for the Government of New Zealand. The RWTF provides Tactical Air Mobility with eight NH90 Medium Utility Helicopters and five A109 Light Utility Helicopters. As well as the combat focussed nature of the fleet, the RWTF provides all ab initio rotary wing instruction for the NZDF.

What we need
Ideally we are seeking someone with a minimum of three years' practical experience in an aviation operations or technical publications environment, preferably in military setting. A background in either the technical or operating airworthiness environments is desirable.
Attention to detail and proofreading skills at a high level will be two of your skills and abilities.
You will have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills and enjoy developing strong relationships with stakeholders, building and maintaining trusting relationship. You will have the ability to liaise and present yourself confidently and professionally.
