Loader Driver/ Operations Assistant

Northland Debarking provides debarking and anti-sap treatment to forestry customers in the Northland region. Situated at Northport on Whangarei Harbour, the 1.1 hectare operation is 100% owned by Eastland Port, part of the Gisborne-based Eastland Group.
Northland Debarking are growing, and we need your help! We are looking for a Loader Driver/Operations Assistant to join our team.
This role involves performing a range of duties to support the smooth and efficient operation of the debarking and anti-sap stain plant.
To be successful in this role you will need a mechanical mind, be a team player, have an excellent work ethic, be committed to health and safety, plus have a clean, full NZ drivers' licence. Ideally you will also have previous log loader operations experience, a Class 2 NZ drivers licence and Wheels endorsement.
This is a full-time position working 40 hours or more per week in line with operational requirements which will include working to a shift roster.
