What we look for in a Forklift Operator:
We are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Forklift Operator to work within our Port Otago Warehouses.

We are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Forklift Operator to work within our Port Otago Warehouses permanently.
The position is a permanent seasonal role and employees will be engaged on the basis that they will work no less than 1900 hours per annum. Hours will predominantly be Monday to Friday, with some weekend and shift work depending on shipping and distribution schedules.
It is important to note that because Port Otago has multiple warehouses in close proximity to our Port Chalmers terminal, you could be required to work any shift in any of the Port Otago Supply Chain warehouses in Port Chalmers, Sawyers Bay, Mosgiel or Dunedin.

Safety is our #1 priority and therefore preferred applicants will be required to have a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol tests. Port Otago also conducts random drug and alcohol tests on an on-going basis. Full Ministry of Justice Checks and ACC records will be conducted as part of the recruitment process.
