C3 is a National provider of Port Logistics services across New Zealand and Australia, employing over 1400 staff in 15 ports.
As we continue to grow we need to build our local port logistics team and require motivated, safety conscious staff who are experienced in the operation of cranes. Our preference would be for operators who have experience loading log vessels, however this is not essential as full training and support will be provided to applicants who are reliable, keen to learn and develop in a career as a ship's crane operator.
If successful you will be employed with a primary function operating heavy machinery, such as ship's cranes as well as having the opportunity to perform other general duties. On offer is permanent work with guaranteed minimum hours per month. The opportunity to travel and work in ports outside of Wellington is available from time to time. Hours of work can be irregular and vary due to shipping requirements.
If you don't have crane operation experience then we would still be interested in hearing from you as there are other opportunities for general Stevedoring duties, working on vessels as well as on the wharf.
