Needed is a Road Safety Engineer to join our Taupo NOC team. You will form part of a team engaged in providing consultancy services to clients in respect to all types of Civil Engineering (including Network Operation and Management, Asset Management, Network Safety, and Contract Management). The safety performance of our roads is a key focus for the region and this is a great opportunity for an experienced Road Safety Engineer to join our established team.The opportunity:
Management of Central Waikato NOC Safety Databases, including SWIPP
Undertake investigations and inspections, and assist finding solutions to problems through applying appropriate analysis and design techniques.
Provide relevant Safety Management advice for the Central Waikato NOC
Preparation of clear reports, designs and drawings.
Communication and liaison with key clients and stakeholders
Maintain a knowledge of appropriate technical standards, legislation, codes of practice and New Zealand Standards.
Ensure adequate technical reviews and verifications are completed for work undertaken, and clear records maintained that meets all reasonable Quality Assurance requirements
Management of Central Waikato NOC Safety Databases, including SWIPP

You will have:
Relevant tertiary engineering qualification.
Completed the Safe System Engineering Workshop or agreed equivalent.
Current New Zealand drivers licence.
Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience working as a road safety or transport engineering professional
