Our community Occupational Therapy service has up to 40 hours a week available for an experienced and passionate Senior Occupational Therapist, based within our Red Beach office covering the Rodney area.
We are ideally looking for someone who has experience in working in a community physical setting, providing standardised and informal occupational performance assessments, remedial and compensatory interventions including; rehabilitation interventions, equipment solutions, housing modifications and wheelchair and seating interventions. You will have the skills to provide leadership and clinical excellence within the community Occupational Therapy team whilst working as part of an Inter-Disciplinary Team.
As a senior practitioner you will provide day to day leadership to the wider community Occupational Therapy team. You will have the support and liaise closely with your Team Manager, Clinical Leader and Professional Clinical Leader for Occupational Therapy and other Senior Clinicians.
You must be a New Zealand registered Occupational Therapist. You will demonstrate strong leadership skills and be motivated and passionate about quality improvement. You will also have experience in supporting staff, students and service development.
