Our Paediatric Allied Health team have an exciting opportunity for an experienced clinician to join the multidisciplinary team as a Practice Supervisor, Social Work.
As the Practice Supervisor you willhold professional governance responsibility; provide clinical supervision, support professional development and clinical practice of the team to ensure a quality service. You will carry a clinical caseload whilst providing day to day coordination and leadership for the Social Workers across Starship.
Reporting to the Clinical Lead of Paediatric Social Work, this key role involves both a clinical and leadership component and will see you working closely with Allied Health leadership to support the overall development of the paediatric social work service. Here is your chance to develop your skills in clinical leadership, motivating/ guiding staff development, and building sustainable health practices in the acute context.

At least 5+ years' experience under their belt
Specialties within the paediatric and child protection field
Post graduate qualifications
To be successful, you will need to be registered with the Social Work registration board (NZ) and be able to demonstrate excellent clinical decision making skills & use of evidence based practice.
