Strange'S Lane: Duty Manager

Strange’s Lane pays homage to the past, present and future of Christchurch, this bar has it all. With loud music from local and international DJs every Thursday to Saturday and American Creole style food offerings, this place is a must if you are after a fun late night out in the city centre.
We are currently looking to fill a full time Duty Manager role which we call a Sales Manager.
About the role:
The Sales Manager is responsible for ensuring every customer that comes in contact with the site has an awesome experience through the excellent overall standards during your shift. This includes the performance of the team, the quality of the product being served and the atmosphere of the outlet.
Duties include:
Ensure daily procedures are completed, opening, closing, cash ups, shift reports
Manage bookings and assign sections to front of house staff
Lead others and set the example of the standards of the business
Manage intoxication
Deal with any customer queries, complaints or function enquiries
Ensure the selling system for the site is being followed

The successful candidate must have their LCQ and Duty Managers certificate, experience in a similar role is preferred.
