About the role:
DevOps role for a highly motivated, creative person with development experience and a specific interest in Cloud Computing and Software as a Service (SaaS) products.
What you will be doing:
This role would suit someone with DevOps experience or someone in a development, testing or IT role that wants to move into DevOps.
Work on a growing SaaS product in the FinTech industry
Enhance and maintain a high-volume Continuous Integration (CI) testing pipeline in Microsoft Azure
Work with FIS hosting team to build Continuous Deployment (CD) pipeline

We believe in failing fast and learning from it. Our SaaS Treasury product is selling well so we need to expand our automated test (CI) and deployment (CD) processes. As a Software Engineer (DevOps) you will work a NZ based agile team to build both the tooling that the developers use and the deployment pipeline that the customers depend on. You will contribute to the team vision on how to scale these systems up to meet the increase in usage and to keep these critical systems running reliably. The DevOps team is a key enabler to the business unit, the work you do will make a difference.
What you will bring:
Commercial coding experience – specifically C#, Powershell or any other major programming language
DevOps knowledge/related experience or desire to work in this area
Agile development and Scrum or any other team-based software development process
Added bonus if you have:
Microsoft Azure – specifically automating the Azure API using PowerShell
Build automation and scripting – specifically PowerShell
Source control servers – specifically SVN and GIT
Continuous integration servers – specifically Jenkins
Testing tools and frameworks – specifically NUnit and Watir (Web Application Testing in Ruby)
Microsoft technologies – specifically ASP.NET and WCF
SQL Server
Development of web and\or SaaS applications
Operating and maintaining a production SaaS product
