Broadspectrum have a number of opportunities for experienced Civil Labourers to join their Telco team in Nelson.

This role will be responsible for the installition of duct and Manholes on the chorus network as well as haul cable and do minor jointing as directed.

These roles would suit motivated candidates, willing to work hard to ensure their own personal growth and the success of the team. There is a strong focus on meeting client expectations and providing high levels of customer service. You will need to have good communication skills, and a desire to go the extra mile.

Required Skills and Competencies
Proven work experience and qualification in Civil works for a Telco provider. Installing manholes, ducts, and hauling cables.
Familiar with 3 tonne digger; familiar with Grunt-a-matt thrust
Current, full Class 1 driver licence and able to drive a manual vehicle. Class 2 and WTR an advantage.
Confident with a range of hand tools and motorised small tools
Be physically fit and enjoy working outdoors
Strong commitment to all Health and Safety practices
An ability to work flexibly and adaptively in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders.
