SPECIALISED EMS FIELD/NOISE CONTROL/PATROL OFFICER

FIRST Security is currently seeking to recruit Specialised EMS Field/Noise Control/Patrol Officers for our Wellington branch. We have multiple opportunities available.
Permanent Full Time Role
We intend to operate on a 4 on 4 off rotating roster with a mixture of days and nights (will get a weekend off at some point as per the rotating roster).
Requirements of the role:
Experience in security preferred but not always required
MUST have 24/7 availability - 12 hour shifts e.g. 6am - 6pm, 6pm - 6am
MUST have at least Permanent Residence, NO Work Visa applications
MUST have FULL NZ Driver Licence (for at least 1 year). No Restricted or Learner Licence applications
Certificate of Approval (COA) preferred; if not a holder must be eligible to obtain one

Some duties include varied work:
For example, day: installing medic alarms, installing electronic monitoring services, noise control - issuing notice, patrolling areas, checking alarms going off
For example, night: checking buildings, ensuring buildings are fully secured and locked, checking alarms going off
Providing High Visibility Security at various sites across Wellington.
Access control, foot patrol and general static guarding
Providing security at the gates and foot patrolling
Ensuring excellent customer service is given
What you need to be successful in the role:
Excellent customer service skills
Be physically fit, be able to run up and down buildings
Be good at de-escalating situations
Quick learner
Time management a must!
Be punctual for work
Take pride in your presentation
Excellent attention to detail
Must be able to work shifts, including early morning starts, weekends and night shifts.
Experience preferred but not always necessary, looking for candidates who are keen to get into Security and make a career out of it!
