We are seeking an Anaesthetic Technician Educator for Hawke's Bay District Health Board who shares our values ofHe kauanuanu -Respect,Akina -Improvement,Raranga te tira -Teamwork andTauwhiro- Care.
The Perioperative unit comprises of 7 theatres, 1 endoscopy suite, 15 bed PACU and a Day Surgery unit. We cover all secondary public hospital specialties and perform on average 10,000 procedures per annum through Perioperative Services.
A rare and exciting opportunity has opened up for a full time permanent position as Anaesthetic Technician Educator here at Hawkes Bay Hospital. This is a new position for interested and motivated educators to come and be involved in this fantastic opportunity to build this new role.
Registration with The Medical Sciences Council is essential, and registration with the New Zealand Anaesthetic Technician Society is preferred.
You will need to be motivated, have a 'can do' professional attitude and a willingness to work as part of the Perioperative Team.

The Anaesthetic Technician team at Hawke's Bay cover operating theatres, ICU, ED, and flight transfers and also provide support to Radiology and CCU. You will be supported by the Anaesthetic, ICU and ED Department and the Perioperative Management Team.
