The Role
The Developer III is responsible for developing software applications that meet given technical designs.
This person will need to:
Understand the SDLC model and what their specific activities are in designing and then delivering, a solid, robust application;
Develop to coding and source code development standards;
Design and develop code that is clean, understandable, maintainable and solid;
Design, develop and implement test plans to accurately test the applicationcode, functions, modules and program;
Develop and maintain detailed and accurate documentation per all project standards.Key Responsibilities:Designs, codes, tests, corrects and documents large and/or complex programs and program modifications from supplied specifications using agreed standards and tools, to achieve a well engineered result.
Takes part in reviews of won work and leads reviews of colleagues' work.
Defines the integration build, accepts software modules from software developers, and produces software builds for loading onto the target environment.
Configures the hardware environment, produces integration test specifications, and conducts tests, recording details of any failures and carrying out fault diagnosis.
Specifies user/system interfaces and translates logical designs into physical designs taking account of target environment, performance requirements and existing systems.
Produces detailed designs and documents all work using required standards, methods and tools, including prototyping tools where appropriate.
Skills & Experience
At least five years of experience in software development using object oriented languages Skill demonstrated through experience
Strong design and development experience with Microsoft Stack (for example C#, ASP.NET,.NET Core and SQL Server) and developing in various environments such as Azure, AWS, hardware environments
Strong design and development experience with front end technologies and web design concepts
Thorough working knowledge of the application design and development processes, methodologies and their direct implementation to applications projects
Sound understanding of object-oriented principles as applied to software development
Strong programming, code development, code debugging and testing skills, troubleshooting skills, and experience with numerous operating systems, development environments, programming languages and architectures
Excellent English communications skills
Excellent ability to understand and express complex topics
Demonstrated leadership and attention to detail skills through prior experience at Page 3 of 4 the tactical / implementation levels
Ability to coach, mentor and train personnel (i.e. software developers) within a technical organization. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
