Support Workers

We are passionate about being person centred, working as a team to make a difference in people with disabilities lives.
Some of our young men have come through the Court System and need a higher level of support and guidance to improve their choices in life. Our houses are all in the Waikato Region with some being secure houses. We want Support Workers to use their communication skills to be a positive role model and to motivate the people we support, assisting them to make the right choices and achieve their goals.Support Workers should: have very good people skills with high resilience and be able to deal with challenging situations be able to analyse, interpret and closely follow care plans, policies and procedures including all Health and Safety guidelines have empathy and be able to motivate others be team players; dependable and honest We offer: Full and part time opportunities on a 24/7 roster Starting pay rate of $20.50 per hour Various training opportunities You will need: Full New Zealand Driver Licence Legal right to work in New Zealand for at least 12 months Ability to pass a police check, CYFS check, and drug and alcohol test The health and wellbeing of our employees and the people we support is very important to us and as such Community Living is a smoke-free environment.Apply now!
