Fibre Team Leader

Broadspectrum has opportunities for an experienced Fibre Team Leader to join our UFB2 team in various locations across the South Island.

This is a management of staff role (you must have management of staff experience), but you will also be ok with getting your hands dirty. So we need you to have experience pulling fibre through ducts using existing infrastructure (or new), and in a position to move around the region from town to town as the project progresses.

Required Skills and Competencies;

o Current Class 1 driver license with WTR as an advantage.

o Experience with fibre splicing and exchange work

o Ability to reads services plans and proposed lay plans to lay out the trench line.

o Capable of backing a light trailer using rear vision mirrors

o Confident with a range of hand

o Good understanding of health and safety procedures and practices

o An ability to work flexibly and adaptively in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders.
