Join the Assertive Community Outreach Service (ACOS), an intensive Community Mental Health Team in ADHB's High & Complex Needs Services. The ACOS team works with people who have a history of poor engagement with mental health services and who present with high risk associated with their condition. We aim to provide responsive treatment to Service Users/Tangata whai i te ora who require more flexibility and intensity of support. ACOS covers all of the Auckland District Health Board area.
As a Clinical Psychologist within the Assertive Outreach model of service, you will use your specialist skills working collaboratively and imbedded with the multidisciplinary teams. You will be able to provide psychological assessment, formulation and evidence-based therapy for clients with complex problems including hearing voices and symptoms of psychosis, mood disorders, complex PTSD, personality and dissociative disorders.
You will require a NZ Registration with the NZ Psychologists Board - or be eligible for same - with a Clinical Scope of practice and a current Practising Certificate.
