No two lessons will be the same so you need to be able to assess your guests? needs quickly, be creative and adapt your delivery to ensure you provide our guests with a really memorable experience. You will also be willing to go the extra mile - whether by assisting guests or helping in another department, you will be asked to roll your sleeves up and muck in wherever required.

Providing safe, fun and informative lessons/coaching
Using appropriate terrain develop skills, build confidence and facilitate great learning
Teach both kids & adults across your certification level
Teach all snowsports products on offer including school groups, group and private lessons with a consistent application using NZSIA technique & teach/coaching methodology as your guide
Meeting & greeting our guests like a concierge. Always use a professional manner and providing information on our ski area services
Helping out in other departments as required ? cross utilisation is frequent. This can include snow shovelling, setting up meeting places, clearing tables in the cafe or helping in the Rentals departmentAbout You

A member of a national instructor organisation (NZSIA, PSIA, BASI, APSI, CSIA, etc) with a current membership is a must
New Zealand and Australian applicants require a minimum of NZSIA Level One or equivalent to be considered for employment.
Previous instructing or coaching experience, as well as qualification/s, is a distinct advantage
Freestyle and Ski Racing qualification and experience is a huge advantage
Children\'s specific certification or coaching kids is an advantage
Foreign languages such as French, Spanish, Japanese or Mandarin also an advantage
Ability to teach another discipline also an advantageFurther Information

In order to set you up for success, all employees will participate in a company induction and Snowsports specific training.
