You need to be a motivated and experienced Registered Nurse and/or Nurse Practitioner, who has:· strong people and leadership skills and · a genuine desire to provide safe, effective healthcare, health promotion and preventative health strategies. The community-based clinics are designed to support equity of access, experience, and outcomes for whanau needing primary medical care. They are intended to be whanau-led and centred services that will be supported by a mix of clinical (Nurses & Nurse Practitioner ) and non-clinical kaimahi (Health Educators, Health Coaches and Administrator). The service will also be delivered from both fixed and mobile sites whether for community events or providing care in remote/rural communities.The model of care key foundations include: applying Te Ao Maori values; whanau-centred and led; integrated care; inter-professional practice; innovation; digitally enabled delivery The clinics are designed to be outcomes and results focused. We want all whanau who use these services to be 'better off' across multiple domains: health and oranga, social and cultural.Successful applicants must: · Have relevant educational background and/or experience · Have a current clinical practicing certificate e.g. New Zealand Registered Nurse Practicing Certificate · Have previously managed staff and/or run a clinics or community services · Offer demonstrable experience in working with individuals and groups of whanau in an outcome-focused way · Be professional in all aspects of their mahi, from presentation to practice · Be able to maintain the highest standards of confidentiality · Hold a current New Zealand Full Driver's License · Understand tikanga Maori (and/or be willing to learn) · Be flexible and agile Applications will be reviewed as they come in, so don't delayApplications close: Monday 29th April 2024
