In this role, you will provide advanced clinical expertise and leadership in order to enhance patient treatment and care planning for patients within the Emergency Department.
This is provided within an interdisciplinary model that best meets patient requirements and aligns with the vision and values of Wairarapa District.The Emergency Nurse Practitioner team practices independently and collaboratively to utilize advanced health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment implementation in both adult and paediatric patients to reduce waiting times, decrease ED length of stay, and increase patient satisfaction for individuals presenting to the Emergency Department.The role also provides clinical expertise and leadership to optimize patient outcomes and develop effective models of care in the department through quality initiatives, teaching, and mentoring.You must have a New Zealand Registered Nurse Practitioner qualification, including Registration & current Annual Practising Certificate.
