1 Year Fixed Term Contract - Maternity Cover
Monday to Friday - 20-24 hrs/wk

About the Position and You:
We have an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse to lead the nursing team atThe Doctors Ti Rakau. We are looking for someone who can bring clinical excellence, great ideas for productive and efficient methods of working and a passion for primary care. This is a 1-year maternity leave contract which requires an experienced nurse manager.
If you are ready to step up into a leadership role, or already an experienced nurse manager this is the role for you. Mentoring and support will be available for the right candidate.
This is a 20-24 hour per week role worked over 7 days - Monday to Friday (weekend work might be required).
The Nurse Lead leads the nursing team, which includes Registered Nurses, and Practice Care Assistants, to provide a safe, high quality, efficient and effective nursing service to the practice population. You will be responsible for recruitment, day to day management , collaboration with the centre leadership team, development and implementation of new and existing models of care designed to improve health outcomes and the effective and efficient running of a medical centre. You will also undertake a clinical component.

Leadership and management aspirations
Clinical experience and passion for, primary care and primary care nursing
Proven quality improvement experience
Postgraduate qualification is highly desirable
Great communication skills at all levels
Advanced computer skills

You must be registered with current practicing and CPR certificates.
