Nurse Educator - Medical Ward

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Registered Nurse or Nurse Educator with soundknowledge and experience in training delivery and coaching for the role ofNurse Educator in our Medical Ward. You will be joining a team of 14 experienced Nurse Educatorsthat play a vital role in the Practice Development Unit that provide educationhere at the Hutt Valley DHB.

This role is based in the Medical Ward and reports though to the Practice Development Unit. You will partner with thecurrent Nurse Educator to deliver exceptional training and coaching across theward.
We are looking for applicants who meet thefollowing requirements:

Hold or are working towards apost graduate qualification
Have minimum of 5 years nursingexperience in Medical or Acute setting e.g. Emergency, ICU
Have a current PDRP andpracticing certificate.
Relevant clinical experience in educationis highly desirable but not essential for this role.
Applicants must have a keen interestsupporting the clinical education of RN/HCAs working in the medical ward and needsof nursing staff with in the HVDHB.
