About the Team
The Oncology and Haematology Services provide specialist inpatient and outpatient services to Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology and Haematology patients. We provide services across a large regional area and have close links with services in Invercargill, Balclutha, Oamaru and Clyde and also have collaborative relationships with the other six regional cancer centres in New Zealand.
About the Role
We are looking for a Nurse Educator to step into this 0.4 FTE permanent role to continue to support new and existing staff within the Haematology & Oncology departments with the provision of education, training and resources that ensure practice is current, evidence based and fit for purpose.
A born communicator and collaborator, with the inherent ability to build successful working relationships, this role will see you working alongside nurses, medical colleagues as well as other educators within the wider PDU team to provide practice and professional development opportunities that enhance service delivery, quality and safety alongside improved patient outcomes.
