Enhanced School Based Health Services - Child, Youth and Womens' Health

Our Child, Youth and Women's Health Team is looking for experienced registered nurses with a passion for youth health and health equity to join us.
This role will report to the Senior Programme Manager, Child and Youth Health and will work alongside other dedicated school nurses. Your key area of responsibility will be the Auckland District Health Board area Enhanced School Based Health Services (ESBHS) Programme. Based in Greenlane, you will provide supervision and support to registered nurses working in secondary schools in the Programme.
You will drive innovation and address service level issues impacting on the ESBHS, and engage with a range of stakeholders such as the Youth Health Clinical Governance Group, School Principals, other nurse educators regionally, Primary Health Organisations, and General Practitioners to provide clinical leadership, professional development and best practice across the Programme.
At a minimum you must be a NZ Registered Nurse with a current Practising Certificate, a highly skilled communicator, exemplify lifelong learning and have advanced clinical nursing skills particularly in the context of school based health care nursing. In addition to this you would have a Post-graduate Diploma or Masters in Youth Health Nursing and/or be on a post-graduate pathway. Ideally, you would be a Nurse Practitioner. It is a given that you be an excellent role model for nursing and have an approachable and can-do manner.
