Job Title: NightporterReports to: Hostel ManagerWeekly hours: 15 hours per weekStart date: Monday 12 October 2019ROLEWe are looking for a fun, hard-working Nightporter to join our small team at Tahuna Pod Hostel in the centre of Queenstown. Your role will predominantly be to clean the communal areas of the hostel, whilst acting as a point of contact in the evenings. When on shift, you will be on call and will thus be required to stay at the hostel. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESFirst point of contact for our guests, after 9pm. For instance, you may be required to help late check-ins find their rooms, or assit if guests have locked themselves out of their rooms. Undertaking cleaning duties in the communal areas, to maintain the high standard of the hostel REQUIREMENTSCommand of the English languageNew Zealand resident or a valid New Zealand work visa This is an onsite role where the amount worked, covers full-time accommodation in our hostel, internet access, laundry facilities, Netflix and evening soup. The successful candidate will work 15 hours a week; 3 hours a day (9pm - 12am), five nights a week.Please note that the 5 evenings you are working at the hostel, you MUST remain at the hostel overnight.
